Join us for a week long program this December 14th-20th 2019, in the beautiful Tulbagh valley- to prepare for a once in a lifetime experience as we come together and reclaim our Wildness! Connect in a community of powerful heart-centered women and feel nurtured, supported and acknowledged just as you are.

This retreat is a magical opening to experience a greater sense of belonging and relationship with the wild world around us. We aim to focus on slowing down and finding respite from our busy lives. This is a space to feed the wild woman within, to be held by the Earth and replenish your body, mind and soul with the simple things in life. Held on a private boutique farm, this magical space is sure to nourish you from the inside out. If slow peaceful mornings, coffee over the fire, waterfall swims, star gazing, daily yoga, soaking in a wood fired hot tub, and deep connections are what make your heart sing, this experience is for you.
Celebrate the beauty of life and womanhood by breathing, resting, and connecting to your inner wise woman.

The earth skills will be taught by a guest facilitator (TBA). We will be crafting baskets, primitive pottery, plant dyes and much more.

Our retreats are about connecting to nature, to each other, and to yourself. Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time to share in sacred ceremony, empower each other and have fun. This retreat is for anyone who wants to get their power back. Be sure to participate in this retreat and give yourself the gift of a life-changing experience that you will treasure forever.

Wild food foraging…

Discover the world of wild foods and how to sustainably and responsibly forage.
Learn how to identify certain weeds and how to prepare them properly.
Wild plant food is one of the most vibrational raising ways to reconnect with nature. Intuitively foraging for wild foods can help foster a much more sustainable way of life. Wild foods require no packaging; cause no pollution and they don’t require the harmful, man made chemicals that are found in commercial farming. Most, if not all, wild edible foods are packed full of vitamins and minerals that far surpass any cultivated varieties of fruit and vegetables.

Enjoy the day foraging, prepping and creating a wildly delicious meal together as we gather in circle and cook over an open fire, and feast until our hearts content as dusk turns into night.

Sister circles

On retreat we make sure to make time for sharing circles. Checking in with the group to see what has come up for anyone, who would like to speak their truth and bare witness to others doing the same. Our circles might be held in the studio, outside by the lake or around a fire, where we will connect, sing and share myths to feed the wild woman within.

Carly will be your host, resident plant guide and facilitating the yoga and self-development classes. Her approaches range from using well-established modern herbalism practices to personal skills she's learned and adapted to while living out on the farm for the past 8 years. Sharing her love and knowledge of edible and medicinal plants with other women is what she is most passionate about. She will also be meeting you on the mat each day to guide you through elemental yoga and dance, always looking to nature to guide and inspire.

Simone Beckerling, our magnificent wonder-woman server and healer will be facilitating the Sweat Lodge ceremonies. A Sweat lodge is a physical and mental cleansing practice originating from most native traditions and the sweat lodge ceremony is practiced in some form by every culture in the world in order to facilitate healing, purification and relaxation.
Simone ''Songweaver'' Beckerling has been walking the Red Path for over a decade. Simone has completed her 4,7, 9 and 13 day Red Path vision quests and given the blessing to ''pour'' for the SweatLodge by her elders. Simone is an experienced Sweat Lodge facilitator who understands the subtlety of holding space, bringing people back to Mother Earth and back to their hearts.

Earth Skills facilitator: These classes will be taught by a guest facilitator (TBA). We will either be crafting baskets, primitive pottery, plant dyes, fire by friction and other fun bush craft. The exact classes will be confirmed closer to the time.

We welcome all women to join us on this adventure, be inspired by, and make lifelong connections with awesome, like-minded women.
